Sponsorship and Fundraising
Sponsorship helps us to put on exhibitions for Jersey’s new or up and coming artists of all ages. It helps us organise events for all ages, bring talented and inspirational tutors to the island to run workshops in the schools and at the gallery and run weekly sessions working with other charities for those with physical or mental disabilities, again for all ages. We collaborate with 5 other charities and sponsorship for this is very important.
Sponsors will get full accreditation on all promotional material, on our website and social media postings.
With both sponsorship and Funding all the money goes to support workshops, events and exhibitions not on wages and upkeep.
Fundraising will always be needed to support the gallery in everything that it does as it connects with more other charities, allowing us to run a very comprehensive educational programme for all ages. Being able to purchase art materials and regularly being able to replace them is such a help.
Donating raffle prizes, to be able to run a raffle at an event or exhibition opening is such a help. Fundraise for something specific….perhaps a group from an office could do this? Would you like to organise an fundraising event for us? Every pound helps and is put to good use.

How can I help?
Art in the Frame Foundation might only be a small Jersey charity but we have made mammoth strides in the Jersey art scene over the last 21+ years.
When we started up 23 years ago, there were only two galleries in the island and ‘art and culture’ was very much ‘not in the frame’. Our charity has made an enormous difference both for the up-and-coming artists/craftworkers and in education… and all of this has mainly been achieved by our hard-working volunteers.
When we started up The Harbour Gallery Jersey in 2002 it was half the size that it is now. Our most important achievement is that it has become the hub of Art in the Frame Foundation. We receive no regular government funding, relying instead on fundraising. However, we still have to pay high commercial rents and all costs associated with running a retail outlet.
Here are some ways you can help us
We know that many local companies are looking for meaningful ways to fulfil their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and we believe that you could do this by supporting the continuing work done by Art in the Frame Foundation here in Jersey.
Sponsor a Workshop - £5,000-3,000
Specific weekly workshops or a year of specific monthly workshops, or a major event
Sponsor an exhibition - £1,000
We hold up to 12 exhibitions a year promoting up and coming local artists and makers. Have a private corporate evening preceding the opening evening, Your name/logo will appear on all advertising, online and on paper. You can have a member of your business opening the exhibition, you can out flags/banners up in the entrance.
Pay for travel and accommodation costs for a visiting tutor – £450-550
Pay for travel and accommodation costs for a visiting tutor to come over to work for 2 or 3 days in the schools with GCSE and A level students. The travel and accommodation would be £450/£550, for the school to have the workshop free add £300 a workshop. With very tight school budgets and a tutor being able to deliver between 2 and 3 workshops in a day they are such an asset
Sponsor a children’s workshop – £400-500
Sponsor a children’s workshop at the gallery, in one 6 hour day A level students could benefit from a fabulous workshop or 2 half day workshops ie GCSE students. For the 6 hour workshop/s use of materials and space the cost would be. £450/£500 according to materials. Or sponsor a sreies of children’s workshops.
Gallery upkeep (materials/labour) – £1000
CSR if your staff would like a day painting perhaps they might like to re paint a room…walls do get to look a bit damaged. no money involved and plenty of refreshment provided!!
Display materials – £500-1000
We often have to replace display materials so any donation would be an enormous help to us.
Materials for educational workshops – £1000
Educational workshops often require specialist materials which need to be bought in so a donation would be a great help.
Any donations or help, perhaps in the form of volunteering, would be gratefully appreciated to help us further our work. In return, we can give you as much or as little recognition as you would like. Your logo on exhibition invitations or on workshops flyers, invitations to exhibitions, 2 half-price places for your staff on each workshop that you sponsor, well organised corporate art/craft workshops for your staff at a reduced rate at The Harbour Gallery Jersey etc. We are open to suggestions as to how we can help you, help us.
We constantly have to rely on sponsorship or donations to carry on our charitable work, please consider Art in the Frame Foundation when you are next looking for Jersey charities to support.
