Promoting and nurturing art in the island of Jersey
It all started from a conversation between two local art teachers.

Art in the Frame Foundation was founded in 1998 by two local art teachers Pat Robson and Elizabeth Le Gal, two years later it took on charitable status becoming Jersey Registered Charity no 21, the charity is very proud to now be in its 25th year.
Aims and Objectives
1. To help up and coming artists and makers, of all ages, to exhibit their work in Jersey and the UK through exhibitions and events, through social media and making connections and to Genuine Jersey.
2 To provide a place of excellence in arts education and deliver a range of high quality workshops and courses with local and international tutors. These are inclusive for children and adults from a diverse range of ages, backgrounds, socio economic status and to include those with physical and mental conditions. Wellbeing is a strong factor in all the work done by the Charity for all ages.
Originally there was a third aim, to have a hub/centre for the above to take place. To our great delight and with the help of a Tourism Development Fund Grant this was achieved in 2002 with the setting up of The Harbour Gallery Jersey, now in its 23rd year.
We are delighted with the way that over the years Art in the Frame Foundation has expanded its programme of exhibitions, events, courses and workshops and is working side by side with many other local charities at The Harbour Gallery Jersey.
Collaborations
We are very proud to have built up working partnerships with other charities, Focus on Mental Illness, Acorn, Mencap, The National Trust of Jersey to ensure that our delivery is accessible for all.
We have developed the highly successful ‘ You Are Never Too Old ‘group meeting once a week at the gallery, which has grown from one group to three providing a diverse selection of creative activities. Friendships have been formed as the group continues to grow.
Achievements
We would like you to see what we Art in the Frame Foundation has achieved at The Harbour Gallery Jersey in 2025 and much of this is with the support of Sponsors, who have very kindly supported events, exhibitions and workshops. As you will see with such a small work force we achieve much and we hope that you will come aboard for 2026.
